Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 18, 2026
Sweep ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website at trysweep.finance and app.trysweep.finance (collectively, the "Services").
Sweep is a non-custodial tool. We do not hold, store, or control your funds at any point. All transactions are executed directly on-chain via smart contracts.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us:
If you contact us directly (for example, by email), we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
Wallet and on-chain data:
When you connect your non-custodial wallet to the Services, we collect your public blockchain wallet address. To provide features such as your transaction history and analytics, we record your wallet connections and store the on-chain transactions ("sweeps") associated with your address. Blockchain addresses and on-chain transactions are publicly available data that are not created or assigned by us or any central party, and by themselves are not personally identifying. We do not control data recorded on public blockchains and have no ability to modify or delete it.
We do not link your IP address to your wallet address. We never store your raw IP address alongside your wallet. Where a wallet connection is recorded for analytics, it is associated only with a pseudonymous, daily-rotating visitor identifier (described below) — never with your IP address.
Analytics we collect automatically:
We operate our own privacy-preserving site analytics. For each visit we may record: a pseudonymous visitor identifier that is a salted hash of your IP address and browser user-agent (it rotates every day, cannot be reversed to your IP, and is never stored as a raw IP address); the page you viewed; the site that referred you and any campaign or referral (UTM) parameters; your device, browser and operating system type; your approximate location (country, and where available region and city) derived from your IP address using a local geolocation database; and the time you spent on a page. This first-party analytics uses no cookies and no persistent client-side identifier.
We also use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure page views. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and processes data, including your IP address, in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
We store campaign or referral parameters and certain app preferences in your browser's localStorage.
We do not collect wallet private keys, seed phrases, or any sensitive financial credentials.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
- Show you your transaction history and account activity
- Analyze usage trends to understand and improve the user experience
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
- Communicate with you and respond to your questions and support requests
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal information on the following legal bases:
- Consent — when you contact us directly
- Legitimate interests — to analyze usage, provide and improve the Services, and detect fraud and security threats
- Legal obligation — where we are required to process data to comply with applicable law
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us or unsubscribing from our communications.
4. Information We Share
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Google Analytics — for measuring page views and usage
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — that host our servers and database and help us operate the Services, bound to protect your information
- Legal authorities — if required by law or to protect our rights
5. Cookies & Local Storage
Our own first-party site analytics use no cookies. We do use your browser's localStorage to remember campaign or referral parameters and certain app preferences across visits. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure page views.
The cookies on our Services are:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Services to function properly
- Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics to measure page views and general usage
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can also control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of the Services.
6. Data Retention
- Contact emails — retained for as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted or archived
- Site analytics — our first-party analytics events are kept in pseudonymous form for as long as needed to understand usage; Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months in accordance with Google's default settings
- Wallet and transaction data — your wallet address and its on-chain transaction history are retained to provide the Services (such as your history), and deleted when no longer required
7. International Transfers
We rely on hosting and infrastructure providers that may store and process data in various countries. If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your information may be transferred to and processed in a country outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your information in accordance with applicable law.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your personal information
- Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
California residents have the right to request information about personal data we disclose to third parties for direct marketing purposes, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data. We do not sell or share your personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at trysweepbusiness@gmail.com.
9. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for the security of your blockchain wallet addresses and their cryptographic keys.
10. Children
Our Services are not directed at children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us at trysweepbusiness@gmail.com.
11. Third-Party Links
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. When you connect a third-party wallet to our Services, your interactions with that wallet are governed by the wallet provider's own privacy policy.
12. Changes to This Policy
