How to bridge G to Gravity L1

Gravity L1 is the current production network, using chain ID 127001 and native G. Its documented canonical funding route converts ERC-20 G on Ethereum into native G on Gravity L1.

Gravity L1: quick answer

  • Use 127001, not the retiring Alpha network 1625.
  • Native G pays Gravity L1 gas.
  • The canonical Ethereum to L1 bridge is one-way today.

Add the current Gravity L1 network

Use Gravity L1 mainnet with chain ID 127001, native G and the official mainnet RPC. Alpha 1625 is a different retiring network. A matching token ticker does not merge the balances.

Prepare G and ETH on Ethereum

The official funding guide identifies Ethereum G at 0x9C7BEBa8F6eF6643aBd725e45a4E8387eF260649. Keep ETH on the source network for approval and bridge fees.

How to Get G

Review the canonical one-way bridge

The current canonical route locks ERC-20 G on Ethereum and delivers native G on Gravity L1. Official documentation says the return leg to Ethereum is not yet available, so only move funds you intend to keep on L1.

How to Get G

Verify native G on the L1 explorer

Confirm the receiver and network before approval, then check the final balance on the L1 explorer. A completed Ethereum transaction alone does not establish final receipt on Gravity L1.

How to bridge G to Gravity L1

  1. Add Gravity L1 mainnet with chain ID 127001 to the wallet.

  2. Verify Ethereum G against the official contract and retain ETH for fees.

  3. Open the current Get G portal from official Gravity documentation and select Ethereum to Gravity L1.

  4. Review the one-way limitation, amount, recipient and fees. Approve the intended spend and bridge only if acceptable.

  5. Verify the native G balance on Gravity L1.
