How to fund Meridian on Robinhood Chain

Meridian is the successor venue referenced by Ethereal, with a separate deployment on Robinhood Chain. To fund a Meridian subaccount, hold supported ERC-20 USDe on the correct network, keep ETH for gas and use the app’s Deposit flow. A wallet transfer alone does not credit trading collateral.

Robinhood Chain: quick answer

  • Use Robinhood Chain mainnet 4663; Meridian testnet 46630 uses separate hosts and valueless test assets.
  • The documented deposit wraps ERC-20 USDe 1:1 into ERC-20 MeridianUSD (merUSD) and credits a subaccount.
  • Ethereal balances, approvals and linked signers do not automatically carry into Meridian; do not fund old chain 5064014 for this task.
  • The former Ethereal chain preset does not fund the new Meridian account.

Connect to Robinhood Chain mainnet

Check that the wallet and Meridian app are on mainnet 4663. Robinhood Chain uses ETH for native gas, separate from the USDe you intend to deposit.

Having ETH or USDe on Ethereum or another chain does not create a Robinhood Chain balance. If you need to move funds, select the exact destination network and supported token, then review the current route before proceeding.

Prepare supported USDe and ETH

Read the current Deposit panel before acquiring collateral. It identifies the enabled token and minimum amount; those settings can change. Match the supported token contract rather than relying on a ticker.

Use a supported swap or bridge only if it delivers the exact required asset on Robinhood Chain. Keep ETH for source actions and for the subsequent Meridian deposit. A same-chain wallet balance is preparation for the deposit, not trading margin by itself.

Deposit through Meridian rather than sending to its contract

  • Open the official Meridian app and connect the wallet that owns the collateral.
  • Select Deposit, a supported token and the destination subaccount.
  • Enter the amount and review any spending approval requested.
  • Confirm the deposit transaction and wait for onchain confirmation and app processing.
  • Check the subaccount balance before placing another deposit.

Understand USDe, merUSD and the subaccount balance

Meridian’s current documentation describes ERC-20 USDe backing ERC-20 MeridianUSD (merUSD). The documented deposit pulls USDe, wraps it 1:1 into merUSD and credits the chosen subaccount.

Do not send tokens directly to the exchange address: a direct transfer does not specify a subaccount. Use the app’s deposit function and check the resulting transaction and balance. The conversion into merUSD is also separate from any exchange conversion between quote-token pools.

Keep the owner wallet available for withdrawals

Use the owner wallet when withdrawing; a linked trading signer cannot authorize a withdrawal. Review available collateral and the displayed fee, then track the request through finalization.

Total balance and withdrawable balance can differ because of open positions, orders and fees. If a transfer remains pending, inspect its transaction and app state before repeating it. Old Ethereal account settings should not be reused as Meridian configuration.

  2. Select Deposit, a supported token and the destination subaccount.

  3. Enter the amount and review any spending approval requested.

  4. Confirm the deposit transaction and wait for onchain confirmation and app processing.

  5. Check the subaccount balance before placing another deposit.

Plan your next step

Find supported small EVM balances with the wallet dust scanner, then review which assets to use in Sweep. A displayed dollar balance is not a guaranteed recoverable amount.
