How to withdraw TIA from Forma

To move an existing TIA balance out of Forma, connect the wallet that holds it, check the current withdrawal route and confirm where the funds will arrive. Forma has announced a halt at block 34,567,890, estimated around November 5, 2026; the block height determines the timing.

Forma: quick answer

  • Use Forma mainnet 984122 and identify native TIA separately from wrapped wTIA.
  • Check a current outbound route and its receiving address format before confirming; this guide does not recommend new deposits.
  • The announced halt is block 34,567,890. November 5 is an estimate, and the current height was not independently verified.

Find the TIA balance you can move

Open the wallet that owns your Forma assets and select Forma mainnet, chain ID 984122. Check native TIA and wTIA separately; the wallet may display these as different balances.

TIA held on Celestia and TIA held on Forma belong to different network balances. An EVM 0x address on Forma does not replace a Celestia receiving address. Keep those identities separate when reviewing an exit.

Choose the current withdrawal route

Start with the Forma bridge linked from the official project documentation and choose its withdrawal flow. Read the current destination network, token, address format and route status.

The older FAQ describes a Stride intermediary. Treat that as historical context: use only the route that the current interface and current official instructions actually support. If no outbound route is available, do not assume an old bridge label proves otherwise.

  • Confirm whether the input is native TIA or wTIA.
  • Confirm the exact network and wallet that will receive the output.
  • Review any network gas, bridge fee and waiting stage shown before approving.

Handle wTIA and gas separately

A wrapped token can require unwrapping before a native-TIA withdrawal. Forma’s FAQ documents wTIA as a distinct balance and describes unwrapping options; use only a currently available supported flow.

Keep enough native TIA for the source actions you need. Review the wallet’s current fee estimate instead of copying a fixed gas setting from an old tutorial. Unwrapping, withdrawing and later claiming can be separate actions.

Confirm the withdrawal and track its result

After reviewing the current route, confirm the wallet request and save the source transaction hash. Check the destination balance on the exact receiving network before treating the move as complete.

A submitted source transaction and a completed destination receipt are different states. Follow any remaining stage shown by the official flow, and avoid submitting the same withdrawal again while the first is pending.

Plan around the halt block

Forma’s October 22 announcement says the chain will halt at block 34,567,890, estimated around November 5. It also announces a later migration of remaining TIA to Eden. This does not establish a currently usable Eden route or a completion date.

TIA withdrawal does not automatically move an NFT collection. Check current collection-specific instructions separately. After the halt, use the team’s current instructions for remaining balances; this guide cannot guarantee an exit or recovery outcome.

How to withdraw TIA from Forma

  1. Open the current Forma bridge from the official documentation and choose the withdrawal flow.

  2. Check native TIA and wTIA separately; use a currently supported unwrap step if required.

  3. Confirm the exact receiving network, address format, fees and any waiting stage.

  4. Approve only the intended withdrawal and track each remaining claim or transfer stage.

  5. Verify receipt on the destination; check current team instructions if the halt block has already been reached.

Plan your next step

Find supported small EVM balances with the wallet dust scanner, then review which assets to use in Sweep. A displayed dollar balance is not a guaranteed recoverable amount.
